Ring Neck Pheasants

Ringneck Pheasants

Originally from Asia, the ringneck pheasant was established in North America in 1881.  These birds are often kept by fanciers and also used by hunters for bird dogs.  The males are larger and colorful, with the characteristic green head and white band/ ring on the neck.

Our pheasants are raised in open air aviaries, and fed a varied high protein diet.  To ensure feather picking is not an issue, we do use the gentle removable peepers for all our pheasants.
