Bobwhite quail are a well known variety of quail which are native to the state of Pennsylvania. These birds are often kept by fanciers for their lively displays and their calls; or used by hunters for bird dog training. They do not mature until they are several months in age, and lay small white eggs.
Our bobwhites are kept in open air aviaries, and fed a high protein diet along with a variety of greens. Generally speaking eggs and chicks are only available May through September. PA Wildlife Propagation Permit PENDING 2025 |
